PANETTONE HANOVER (6th)
SPOT PLAY - ANNELIESE HANOVER (1st)

Race 1 - F&M Winners of 3 but not more than 5 PM Races or 60000LT Pace

(1) ANNELIESE HANOVER drew the pole tonight after a couple of post seven starts. She's closed out her last two miles pretty well, which makes me believe she has some sneaky form, and I'll give her a shot. (4) HUNTING LINDY makes her second start back after a layoff here and hit the board a couple of times in this class in March. (7) OAKWOOD DYNASTY IR moves outside on the gate but comes off a victory at this level in her last appearances.

Race 2 - Winners of 2 but not more than 5 PM Races or 60000LT Trot

(4) JAQEN H'GHAR won't offer much value but won impressively in this class on May 18 and gets some post relief tonight. (7) FRENCHY HANOVER is a newcomer to the high-percentage Travis Alexander barn and won two back over the half mile oval at Flamboro Downs in Ontario. (1) TOMBSTONE has hit the board two straight times at this level and moves back to the pole position after starting from the four-hole last Saturday.

Race 3 - 40000CLM Pace

(5) THRASHER didn't threaten on 5-13 but bounced back from that with another win on May 22 and was claimed again by a high-percentage barn. (2) HURRIKANEKINGJAMES has hit the board in five of his last six outings and was third in the event won by THRASHER on the 22nd of May. (6) ON THE VIRG is riding a two-race win streak, including a tally at this level most recently. He gets another chance to partner with driver Joe Bongiorno.

Race 4 - F&M NW2/25000LT / Maidens Draw Inside Pace

(5) WOMEN BE SHOPPIN tallied in the corresponding class to this one at Pocono on 5-7 and backed that up with a third-place result at the NW4 level at that oval. She looks like she should be pretty tough in this race. (7) WHOLE LOTTA LUCK drew poorly again but did gain some ground in the final quarter in her appearance last Saturday, and I think this is a softer group she's facing here. (3) URSULA BLUE CHIP gets post relief after starting from the seven-hole last Saturday and while she has a poor win record, she often works her way onto the ticket at a price.

Race 5 - 40000CLM Pace

(3) TUFFENUFTOWEARPINK hasn't made a lot of noise since being claimed by Ron Burke in mid-April, but that was against tougher claiming company. He won two straight when last seen at this level. (2) NOWHERE CREEK A has been sharp lately with three consecutive on-the-board results and trainer Doug Dilloian Jr. has been sending out several live horses lately overall. (1) MOVIN' ON UP was second in this class on May 22 and he had a gap in his schedule coming into that tilt. He also gets post relief tonight.

Race 6 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(2) PANETTONE HANOVER finds the bottom level tonight and has been facing way tougher foes out of town since his qualifier on April 27. (1) GREAT SOMEWHERE has faded in his last two appearances but drops to the NW5000L5 class and he does show an on-the-board finish in a NW15000L5 race as recently as mid-April. (3) RULE OF LAW gives the NW5000L5's another try here after he overcame some interference and closed well in a fifth-place finish on May 24. He gets significant post relief here.

Race 7 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW5000L5 Pace

(8) STELLAR YANKEE drew the outside but has been racing well over at the Meadowlands, and I can't see George Brennan taking him back to last in a winnable dash here. (3) SHADOW CAT looks like a main contender as well as he has been racing in higher classes both here and at Pocono since his last win on April 13. He was Brent Holland's choice over two other horses. (6) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N hit the board in a NW7500L5 event back on March 27 and drops out of the NW10000L5 level.

Race 8 - 15000CLM Pace

(6) CHIEF CORLEONE tired from first-over last Saturday, but I think he's worth another shot here in the hopes he has a smoother trip, especially since he shows that on-the-board finish in a $30,000 claimer on May 6. (3) ITALIAN DELIGHT N hasn't been outside the trifecta since returning to action in April and gets major post relief tonight. (1) WAIMAC ATTACK N has hit the board in all of his appearances against $15,000 claimers since he came over from Pocono and moves inside on the gate to the pole position.

Race 9 - 20000CLM Pace

(4) RJ SPORTS IMAGE makes his third start back after a layoff here for Joe and Jenn Bongiorno. He closed out his mile well last Saturday, and I'll bank on further improvement coming tonight. (1) SMOKIN BY N starts from the pole and shows three victories in this class. (6) LIBERTY N FREEDOM is a second-time starter out of the Alexander barn, and driver Jim Marohn Jr. has had success with this horse before.
